What are the most common mistakes beginners make in the gym?
Well, from my vast experience of working with clients and spending hours in the gym, I have a few tips to give you:
- Don't ego lift. You need to lift weights that you can control. There is no fun in injuring yourself.
- Nobody in the gym is judging you. We are all there to train, no one is out to get you.
- Watch and learn from the more experimented guys. You can even ask them for help, and they will surely help you.
- Don't go for supplements right away, fix your diet first. Supplements are meant to SUPPLEMENT good food, not replace it.
- Feel the vibe of the gym. If no one slams weights and/or grunts, maybe you shouldn't either.
