Vegan diet: Pros and Cons
The vegan diet has been a hot topic for quite some time now, with some people saying it changed their life for the better and others saying it is very bad for your health.
I know for a fact that as long as you get the right amounts of macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates) and micronutrients (sodium and vitamins), almost any diet can be sustainable.
However, a sustainable diet does not mean a healthy one.
Before adopting a vegan diet, make sure you talk to a specialist or have some bloodwork done to make sure that you don't have iron or zinc deficiencies, or other diseases that may make the vegan diet dangerous for you.
That being said, my opinion is that a balanced diet with a little of everything will be much more beneficial for anyone trying to get in shape or just live better.
